you're missing my point.. this is bruce's best album,and abbey road is the beatles best album...

That's a terrible comparison. Great you love it and all, but Abbey Road, even if you love it, is a totally polished, slick album. Nebraska is anything but, it's raw and sparse.

All Springsteen fans of any length (I started in the early 70s at Liberty Hall in Houston---or as Bruce always calls it "THE Liberty Hall") have a special place in their hearts for this album. I can almost picture myself sitting across the table while Bruce plays these songs into the TEAC 4 track as a demo. The intimacy of this album is overwhelming.

This has to be the nuttiest comment on Youtube! Not only for the obvious inaccuracies about dates but also because Bon Jovi has freely acknowledged his debt to Bruce and also Southside Johnny. I think you need to learn a little musical history and chronology, my friend!
