Magnet Broadband can be very slow

Looking at facebook I realised that images were painfully slow. Here is an example of downloading an image from the facebook start page.

I hit ctrl-F5 a few times to demonstrate how slow it was downloading.
This doesn't happen if I go through a proxy or use a different internet connection. It also doesn't happen for all websites, only some. Produced on wikipedia, boards.ie, ebay.co.uk, tripadvisor.com
I wonder do the magnet engineers have any idea whats going on?
