@nixxxon18 excuse me? This car is by every definition of the word, a sportscar. This car proves that a car doesn't have to cost 500,000$ or more to be the fastest street legal car in the world. Plain and plain, this is the FASTEST street legal car. EVER. (The 720 costs around 100,000 I believe) and beuty is in the eye of the beholder, so don't say it's ugly. From the back and front, it's actually pretty sweet.

meh, the ultima is not a real sportscar, its some sort of le mans prototype adapted for the road. Ugly, ugly car

@GBibbyphotography The fact you got everything correct in your statement without being rude. Is amazing i tip my hat to you sure!

Biggest reason why I love this car is the Price/Performance ratio and the ability to mod the car as well. I'm not going to say this car is better than the Ferrari or vice-versa but consider that they are two different class of cars. No two Ultima is the same. It is a kitcar. You build it yourself and you can make it as fast as you wish with any engine you want. If you want a fast car that you can make faster, get the Ultima. If you want a expensive car that WILL be superseded, get the Ferrari.

nice driving :)

@xLightsouTx628x Instead of spending so much on a car that you are actually only renting from Ferrari a few times a year; I prefer to have a Ferrari 458 Spider AND an Ultima GTR 720 (for less $) and drive them whenever & wherever I want to.
The Ferrari 458 gives you much more fun than ANY other car (FXX included), while the Ultima GTR makes you feel brutal speed and acceleration at their best.

Pagani Zonda R 1min 08.5sec.. Ultima Sucks!!

@GBibbyphotography and the Pagani Zonda R beats both of those cars xD

@xLightsouTx628x Mass produced as well you say? Heh, the Ultimas are all hand built kit cars!!! They are not mass produced in any shape, size or form! They're cheap because you don't pay for the Ferrari badge, nor for the Ferrari F1 race team! They're light, modern engineered cars with relatively simple but powerful engines! The FXX isn't even a "supercar" it's a race car and not very good one because it's based on a road car. The Ultima is opposite, a road car based on race car!
It no where neer humiliates the fxx! That car is hideous and mass produced thats why it costs less than the ferrari; the fxx was created from ingenious hand crafted work along with heart and passion. Its hand made carbon fiber body is weaved to perfection; along with its 860 bhp ferrari v12 engin, seramic brakes, and hand assembled brembo brakes make it if anything the best super car of the new millenium. This car is what supercars are all about!

@xLightsouTx628x Yes but you cant own an FXX - ferrari keeps them all at its factory + only allows you to drive it at pre approved events. I agree its an engineering masterpiece but you can take it home with you (or race it) + no matter how much you hate the ultima its far better + more value for money. Argueing that sort of case you may as well say the ford GT40 was just a heap of junk knocked up in a shed in england. Beat the crap outta the ferraris at Le Mans year on year tho.

i would like to see them in a drag race, and to truely find out which one is faster around the track u need to use the same driver in both cars to be sure that driver skill (on that track) is not what determines the times.

@TMacBoy3 I agree totally.
The only difference is that the FXX is a testbed car and is not road legal. I saw the FXX project at the Ferrari birthday party at Silverstone and to be honest some of the driving was terrible. They are driven by busisnessmen and there was a distinct lack of talent.
I have a couple of ex F1 drivers and a double FIA GT world champion lined up+ waiting to take the challenge but funnily enough Ferrari wont play ball.
C'mon Ferrari we need to know.
