The Government introduced the e-verify system as a way to check your new hires against their official database. You might think, considering it's a government program, that would be enough to guarantee you have all your bases covered. Unfortunately - you'd be wrong.

The simple fact is, E-verify only takes you part of the way toward full compliance. E-verify is designed only to check your new hires. But that's only part of the equation.
