Here is Deanna Durbin singing Frank Loesser's song "Spring Will Be a Little Late This Year." The song comes from Robert Siodmak's rarely shown 1944 film "Christmas Holiday." Also starring in the film are Gene Kelly, Gladys George, Gale Sondergaard, and Richard Whorf.

  • I know what you mean, it seems like she puts no effort into it but it comes out perfect.

  • Deanna is a terrific torch singer. She would have given Lee Wiley a run for her money if she had stayed in that genre, both in voice and looks. Please make this clip longer on both sides so the combo gets heard playing the entire song. Hearing the dialogue won't matter. Thanks for posting this.

  • how lovely !

  • Losser's songs are closest pop music came to being musically merited

  • might i add, GOD WHAT A FIGURE!

  • I like how she sings this song, she sings it so simply with such great talent. That dress is gorgeous and so is she.
