tough like, but remember, we've all done crashes like this. it's part of the hobby!

@pete2778 Theres a lot of a-holes representing their ignorant minds in our wonderful world of youtube.
-
Look on the bright side it never hit anyone. Models however much they cost can always be replaced. We all loose them it's par for the course in this hobby.

Looks like the ailerons were reversed. I've forgot to extend my antenna for a whole flight before and didnt have any glitches, but I flew a brand new Sukhoi once with the ailerons revered and it did the same exact thing on its first flight. You fly long enough, you get complacent and it happens.

@tallblondesexy A lot of the negative comments were made by Americans? Not all of them were Tall Blonde or sexy either, ....or like you,.... modest with it.....Have a nice Day...:)
-
Sarcasm aside, it was a pretty stupid thing to do...

@xoio No really?
He never knew that (!)

E cio' fioi!!! L'antenna ghe vol!!!! :)
To those insulting the model's pilot and laughing please remind yourselves that HE posted this and has been totally honest about the causes of the crash. He might very well save somebody else from making this mistake and costing themselves a lot of money & time. Criticising him & mocking him is hardly very sporting or fair, it's not like he's not suffered enough from his mistake. Those who laugh & mock do so out of jealousy because they haven't the money or skill required to build such a model.

Lose those guys on the flight line with you. On every large plane maiden I will pause for a minute, ready to take off, then talk with my "co-pilot" - buddy helping out to double check EVERYTHING. He'll quiz me on thing Aileron direction, Wing Tube, Enough Fuel, anyone on the field. Then your confidence is up and you succeed. Get one of those guys on the flight line and lose the groupies that are there to distract and disorient you.
Best wishes on successes in the future
