A Sunday Drive In Silver City New Mexico

Violet and I went for a nice Sunday drive to the Gila forest, Mibress Valley et, and took some pictures. We have such beauty in our world, all we need to enjoy it is to free ourselves from the chains we have entangled ourselves with.

Silver City a nexus of hypocrisy... lifestyle vortex for aging hippies, young wannabe hippies, all of whom are the most me me me self-centered self-indulgent sort of creeps, the entire lifestyle scene based on tax subsidies (grants), and a pack of discriminatory elitist hipper-than-thou misfits who contribute nothing and accomplish nothing. Forget Silver City... go see the Gila Cliff Dwelling ruins. Enjoy the mountains. Avoid Bullard St. the junky capital of NM.

@BarrosSerrano I couldnt agree with you more, I left Silver City back in Dec 2009. I returned home to South Florida. I came upon Silver City during my Spiritual Journey, some one in Taos had told me about the place. I did vist the dwelling and I enjoyed the Mountains, I also enjoyed the time I spent there, can't trash it all the way. I have some good memories once that I will always hold dear. But life changes constantly for me that is the cross I bare.

@BarrosSerrano There is one bad memory and bad encounter Bobby from Diamonds Gym, he is a con artist, a theif and a asshole. But other than that, down town Silver City was fun for being such a small town. I enjoyed Javalina, the free concerts in the Morning Star and park. The Vine when it was opened, and I can't remember the name of the restaurant across Javilana, I had some nice meals there. Over all, it wasnt so bad. Why do you hate it so?

Well I went to college a few hours away in Las Cruces. Was there for over 5 years and now I am in Denver.

Yeah, it's been nice but I am heading back to the east coast, Fort Lauderdale Florida. The scenery is beautiful, but I miss the ocean and my friends and family. I lived here for over a year, and that was enough for me. Where do you live now?
