I can say that he is my friend from school. I play the piano. He is in the 9th grade but I am in the 8th. What about time: he says he plays 6 hours a day when he doesn't have to go to school. He is from Latvia and also studies at Austria

I am a violin teacher, I heard this performing live at David Oistrakh violin competition in Moscow where this boy was the best beyond any question. Though I heard "Spanish Symphony" innumerable times he took my breath away from the first notes.
Suppose he is one of the best among his generation.

Not the best recording. It sounds a bit shrill on the recording - but i'm sure it was superb live. I love his intensity. He has real talent. He's like a baby Gil Shaham.
