Arizona Cardinals - This Could Be The Year

After years of frustration and futility, the Arizona Cardinals return home to host an improbable NFC Championship Game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Led by veteran quarterback Kurt Warner, three receivers with over 1,000 yards and an opportunistic defense, the Cardinals have stunned the NFL, and are one game away from their first ever Super Bowl berth.

This video, made of highlights from their recent victory over the heavily favored Carolina Panthers, is set to Ryan Star's song, the title of which is the thought on the mind of every long suffering Cards fan: This Could Be The Year.

EDIT: Props to the Pittsburgh Steelers on their Super Bowl victory. It was an amazing game until the end, and I think you've got a real shot of seeing a few more rings while Ben is your QB. He may not put up gaudy stats, but he's one of the best when the chips are down. Maybe we'll meet up against in the big game next year, just with a different result.

I don't think it'll be the end of the world if Q goes elsewhere, though I certainly hope he stays. I do think, however, Dansby is the bigger priority. I'm interested to see what happens with the situation at running back, as well.

Congrats on it, as well. Big Ben played a tremendous game, and listening to his post game comments about the Cards and Kurt Warner, a true class act. I'm not upset to see them get another ring... I just wish it didn't come at our expense. But it was probably one of the most exciting football games I've ever seen.

I think, if nothing else, the Cardinals proved their playoff run was anything BUT a fluke. Nothing but credit to the Steelers, but the Cards pushed them to the limit. There are issues to be addressed, but I think they proved themselves in the Super Bowl.

How did they accomplish the unthinkable??? Pittsburgh proved that back in 2005. Only 6 seed wild card to squeeze in the playoffs, and tear down the NFL and win it all. Also, again against your Cards. We won 6th ring!  Unprecedented by any other Organization in the NFL. I do like the Cards though. My second team.

Steelers proved how dominate our defense is and how defenses WIN championships. The Cards played a good game but the Steelers are seasoned bird hunters.
