His Harigoshi is fascinating to say the lest. What's his son's name? And what's Nazim doing now? Yes I know all about his Judo I saw him upclose in Japan many times.
-
no he is not in big sport any more.but his son is now being trained by his first judo master.i see you know about him.All judokas are proud of him here in Azerbaijan. And our new olympic champion Elnur Mammadli of course.A lot of children have come to judo since he became the olympic champion.i mean he created a big interest towards this sport here.

m00rad! What's he doing now? I haven't heard much about him! Is he still active in Judo? His Harigoshi was legendary..The best, a lot of amateurs mistake it for Uchimata!
-
lmao..... nah its aload of crash corses here and there
-
wow! sounds like you're still a virgin
Its uchimata because the leg goes between the opponents thighs. It lloks like it WAS a harai attempt, but ended up uchimata. Anyone that thinks this is a makikomi is an idiot. Makikomi involves throwing your arm over the opponents arm and trapping it to wind the opponent around your body. So OF COURSE grips make the makikomi.

thank you that is what I tried to explain to mr. michaelroyburke over there ^_^

The winding motion looks makikomi-like to me. That seems more important to me than the grip. The same throws often have multiple grips.
Anyway, since you're obviously a judo expert what would you call this throw?

lol chill buddy it was a general comment. first of all you do makikomi holding one grip (lapelle or sleeve , pick one etc.) at the end he still has 2 grips, that's just a clue to how I don't think it's a makikomi. And that's an uchimata by the way, follow his leg movement. p.s. I never said I was an expert, It's called a personal opinion, learn to accept them :)

looks like hane goshi or hane makikomi.

makikomi? since when does a normal lapelle and sleeve grip mean makikomi? and i agree it's a beautiful throw, one that jigoro kano himself would aproove of.and if you don't know who that is, don't even bother with judo lol
