Sorry About Dresden encourages folks to learn about the bombings of Dresden in World War II. Do a google search for "Dresden Bombing wiki" for the wikipedia article.

While our band name is facetious in nature and based neither on the writings of Kurt Vonnegut nor World War II, we welcome vigorous debate on this subject.

We do think that if you are against the senseless killing of innocent people it should be all innocent people, not just some of them.

You are welcome to your opinion of the band. Your views on history, though, are more than a little skewed. Had it not been for Neville Chamberlain's milquetoast approach to Hitler's military moves, Germany wouldn't have made the progress they did. And you have to know that bombing Dresden offered the allies no signifigant strategic advantage. But whatever. Maybe when you hit adolescence you'll be more open to the truth.

Your own american politicians appeased hitler also, as did the french and italians. It should not be left up to Britain to solve the worlds ills, Germany is a big boy and the german people could have decided to not fight for hitler, no excuses. If you americans had joined in at the beginning of the war then 6 million jews would not have joined. Only really the British came out of WWII with any self respect.
