Not sure why so many CFL fans spends there time fussing about the NFL vs CFL. There’s plenty of room for both. I never found any issue following my 2 favorite teams (i.e. Bills and Argos). Im pretty sure 99% of Americans could give a rats A about the CFL. But why should anybody care. Sit back, have a beer and enjoy!

I remember "Downtown" Eddie Browns TD catch in the '96 Grey Cup being featured as CNN's play of the day back when they used to show sports highlights once or twice and hour.

CFL has a lot of good things in it that Americans can appreciate like high scoring & almost Constant Action with Field Goal Returns.

The CFL also got more coverage when Rocket Ismail went to the Argos instead of the NFL. There was a lot of interest in Ismail, because he was such a dynamic and charismatic player at Notre Dame.

I remember seeing this game and being so pissed off. But Calgary won the next year.
I also remember CNN's so-called sports expert referring to the Grey Cup as "Canada's version of the Super Bowl" without acknowledging the Grey Cup being more than 50 years older than the young Super Bowl.
