Not too be an ass but didnt he see the big rock cliff too his left and maybe not turn out that way he could of went to the right. Hope he was ok.

I think he was so confident he could climb the hill that he didn't plan a good escape route. He cracked a few ribs and bruised a lung. His helmet was cracked too. The hill naturally funnels towards the cliff so that is where he went. He would have been free and clear if he went to the left and down the other little chute. Hindsight 20/20 :).

I think he cracked a few ribs and bruised a lung. He was okay after getting checked out at the hospital. He also cracked his helmet. He was so confident he could climb the hill he didn't scout out an escape route. The hill naturally funnels towards the cliff so that is where he went.
