i have one x200 for 3 yrs. fits my needs perfectly. i bought a new tablet & now regretting. back to my x200. i love it.

I am glad it has no trackpad, thats one of the reasons I was not the biggest fan of the x300... I hate trackpads...

Disk drive? Disk drives are useless on a laptop. The only time in the last few months I've used my optical drive /even on my PC/ was when installing my OS. Beyond that, I have no need for it. Why would I carry it around with me; regatdless of if I play games or do work?

I have the X200, and I just used the cd-drive to install windows. Never used it after then.

no i didnt complain they are for business. disk drives are not need although convenient. they are just laggy and slow. compared to other laptops i used for simple things like excel, word, checking email, ect.

then why complain think pads are for buisness not for children and fun...and yes the suck a bit because they got no disk drive but these days you don't need disks for work only a memory stick
