good interview. i disagree with one point of his, though, and that is that lyoto's karate is not "normal" karate. it really is. it's very traditional shotokan kumite. all his techniques are straight from karate--the footwork, movement, puches and kicks, sweeps, etc. he fights the way most karate guys would in an MMA type of match.
