WHAT THE GAME IS MISSING! Seriously! Gary Norwood, bka "Woodstocc", was born in his hometown of Fayetteville, North Carolina on December 31 , 1985. Woodstocc has always had a passion for music dating back to his middle school years. He really found that he loved rapping and had a talent when he had to deal with the loss of his close friend Collette S. Jordan (R.I.P. Baby Girl) in 2003. He and his cousin made and dedicated a song to her speaking about her life. Woodstocc saw he had talent but still did not take a seriously. It was not until August of 2004 when Woodstocc met close friend and partner Steven Daniels, bka "FRESH" that he would start take music seriously. Woodstocc and Fresh would sit around and Freestyle constantly improving their craft. They would often battlerap to ensure that the others game was on point. In 2006 they would go on to form the powerhouse group named the "Chevy Boys". As the Chevy Boys they went on to take control of Fayetteville's undergroung rap world with songs like "26" and "We aint playin wit ya". In the Summer of 2006 they had numerous peroformances including "The Foxy 99 Summer Picnic in which they performed over 2000 people. They also did a show as the openers for Pastor Troy and competed and won in all open mics and iron mics they did as a group. The group also won as the underdog on Foxy 99's Battle of the Beats against hometown favorite Dirt Mobb Click in which they won 7 votes to 1. After a long struggle and many accomplishments and setbacks the group decided to part ways and focus on their solo projects due to time differences. In 2008 when the young rapper met Terrence McNeil (Sony/BMG) he decided to take the stage name of Woodstocc, meaning the biggest and best thing out. Still working closely with Fresh on his solo career, the rapper Woodstocc has almost completed his project for his 2009 debut "Woodstocc 09" and has worked ith industry standard producers such as T.R.U.T.H. (Get Me) and The DEM (Maximus Music) who have both worked with major labels such as Interscope, Geffen and Warner Bros. They have also done work with major artists such as 50 cent, Young Chris, Wale, Ron Artest, Freeway, Beanie Sigel, Stat Quo, Shareefa, Day 26, I-15, Bloodraw, Slick Pulla and many more. These producers have taken a liking into Woodstocc and feels like he has what it takes to make it big and introduce that Carolina Swang and his "swagg music to the world. Keeping God first in his life he also feels he has what it takes to "make it". With the help of "Fresh", Woodstocc has managed to develop a light so bright that even a blind can see it. After being involved in a serious car accident in 2006 and enduring a very serious gunshot wound in 2007, Woodstocc knows that God kept him here or a purpose.... To spread the good news and drop hits!!!!!! Keep an eye out in 2009 because his time is coming!!! NOBODY CAN STOP HIM!!!!! -If it don't make dollars it don't make sense. -"Grind all day everyday..I'mma sleep when I die" - Anonymous
