  • The DNA argument is simply another attempt to justify the impossible, my friend. If you study a little more, you will see that the DNA does not define ethnicity - that one is a much more complicated issue. Besides, your precious iGENEA hasn' t really told us anything about its methodology - how did they define whose DNA is 'Macedonian' and whose isn't?? What analysis did they perform?? What did they compare their findings to?? I'm sorry, if you know about research methods, this is a joke.

  • Other thing i wanted to say is about the DNA,the DNA done is my country by iGINEA which is the best at what it does in the world( genetics of the Europeans)it clearly says in their report that the Ancient Macedonians are direct ancestors with the people of today Macedonia and only a small % have slavic DNA.It also writes that only 32 % of the people in Greece are descendent's of the Hellenic,Macedonian and Arabic people, 31% descendent's of Kellis ,12 % German and Slavic, and 11 % Illyrians

  • @cyllocke I respect what u said, but i dont agree with all. I know the history of my own people too, I have been studying Greek, Macedonian, American history for more then 6 years. But still i believe that there is some connection between the Greeks and the Macedonians, scientists announced the discovery of the oldest fossil skeleton of a human ancestor, more than a million years before Lucy, the iconic early human ancestor specimen that walked the Earth 3.2 million years ago. So we come form one

  • @TheEvengard

I believe I know the history of my own people quite well, thank you - but you don't. Otherwise you would have known that the Greeks who were forced out of Anatolia weren't the only Greeks in the world, and that there were massive Greek populations in Macedonia long before 1913. Saying that the Macedonians who fought in Chaeronia are your fathers is the biggest joke in the universe, that was yet another CIVIL war between Greeks. I'm not even going to comment on DNA, it's so stupid.

  • @cyllocke No the Greeks are descendants of Alexandar and Philip, they came from Anadolia , forced out by the ottoman Empire , so it can gain more territory . They settled at Aegean Macedonia , and today they own it , why they own it , cos the super powers in 1913 divided Macedonia . Greek DNA shows Ethiopian connection , so u dont have rights to call yourself a Greek . In Ancient time Greeks called Macedonians barbarians , even the battle of chearone shows the hate between us

  • No answer...

    I thought so.

    Thank you

  • No, of course not... I suppose there were TONS of 'Macedonians', but no Greeks - or anyone else, for that matter...

In that sense, it is a mystery that no credible source mentions 'Macedonians' as such (e.g. the Ottoman censuses) or that prestigious historians tell a very different story about you (e.g. Dr Robert Greenberg of Yale Uni).

Never mind that, a simple question for you then: if 'you' were there, why didn't you fight for your country in 1912-13 - or at ANY other time??

  • @cyllocke Nobody said we were the only ones there.

But I can say there weren't many "greeks", now, that's for sure ;)

  • "... OUR Macedonian land... "

What a hypocrite. As if "you" were the only ones living there, as if there was no one else - ever. That's the kind of lies you've been telling yourselves and the world... and you want us to spare you?? You wish!!!

  • @cyllocke We live here since we know about ourselves. Unlike the wannabe "greeks" prosfygas who came from Asia Minor JUST FEW DECADES AGO ON OUR MACEDONIAN LAND and now they teach us history lessons. Spare me.
