I know this comment is 2 yrs old, but I wanted to respond. I don't necessarily believe Dean is whoring out Dime, I mean Dime only used Deans & for that I believe Dime is Dean. "your supposed to by the guitar because his name is on it" My answer is would you buy it for any other reason? If naming & reputation were not an issue in our world, why the fuck would anyone spend $1200.00 on a Gibson and so forth? Plus the money is obviously going to his family, something Dime would like.

i love dimebag darrell and hes my all-time favorite guitar player and all that good stuff. but man in my opinion its starting to get sad by how dean guitars is using his name for marketing factor. i mean whenever he first died yeah they were using his name and putting them on guitars as a tribute to our brother dime. but nowadays it seems like their making it to were your supposed to by the guitar because his name is on it. its bullshit to me.
