Very impressive. I notice you are using pads at the head of the guitar(s) to mute the strings / get rid of any unwanted ring-outs. Have you seen the Moog guitar and it's sort of anti-sustaining / muting electronics (literally a reverse sustainer)? I know you can get kits that do the same thing that you can have installed. Might be worth looking into, as I think it would greatly improve the tonality of the instrument, given your technique...

I don't use "legato" because Bach sounds awful with it. Although I can do it, I spend few years of practicing "non legato" after seven years of practicing "legato", also with this tune. Believe me, it's MUCH better to don't use it. And no, this is neither organ nor piano tune.

Not necessarily. You can also hammer on a non-vibrating string. Greg Howe does that a lot, he calls that „hammer ons from nowhere“. But in the end it's just semantics, I guess. Considering tappings to be hammer ons or not doesn't really matter. Fulara makes it sound awesome, I guess that's what counts.

no, hammerons is done on a string that is already vibrating.

Technically, every single note he plays right there is a hammer on.

He doesn't play legato, though, you're right about that :D
