  • Even having watched the modern series, my favourite Doctor/companion combo is still Sylvester and Ace. Nice interview. Thanks for posting!

  • I couldn't help staring at Sophie Aldred's legs. She is a bonnie lass; didn't realise how nice her pins are!

  • The Rememberance of the Daleks was an amazing Episode(s) Especially when they went upstairs!

  • I found out Patrick troughton should have been there not John pertwee but he died in bed in his hotel on the morning of the interview. So John pertwee was rushed off to America and probably turned up to the studio late.

  • I love the new series of Doctor who..but there is something about the classic series that just makes people like it just that little bit more.

  • @klisher she is downright rude. I think she is having trouble taking the interview seriously

  • I remember how special it was to see clips from old stories, afforing us an introguing, fleeting glimpse of stories that had not been in the public domain since their first and only transmission

  • @theheroguy It would have been nice if Pertwee had made a special appearance during the 25th anniversary season, if only for a cameo.

  • Amazing! :)

Wow. November 1988? While this was on, I'd still be in school and it would probably be lunchtime. There would be nobody at home to set the VCR. So... thank you!

I guess it was about this time, I saw The Ultimate Adventure at the Birmingham Hippodrome. Expected to see Jon Pertwee, but ended up watching David Banks instead!

  • judy spiers is very condescending in her tone of voice.
