It was shown on His 50th Birthday Celebration on 12 Sep 2009 @ Karma Kagyud Buddhist Centre, on this auspicious day, many devotees turned up to convey their well wishes to Shangpa Rinpoche and join in a sit-down dinner which was kindly sponsored by Mrs. Budiman

Shangpa Rinpoche's longevity prayer, which was specially composed by the angelic voice of Goh Ren Hui ....which u can visit the centre to try to get the limited edition CD created by our ingenious Rinpoche's melodies.....
On Shangpa Rinpoche's Birthday, the centre launched a book of all the beautiful photos taken over the years by our abbot Shangpa Rinpoche. Shangpa Rinpoche is an avid photographer. Over the years, he has captured many captivating photos of his monasteries and nunnery, the places he visited during pilgrimages and teaching tours and the people he has encountered. In this photo journal, he offers you an opportunity to see how he views what surrounds him and his activities, which may be interpreted from the photos he takes. Except for photos of Rinpoche himself, the other photos featured in this book are taken by him. Yogis of the past staying in remote mountains contemplate on the Dharma when viewing their beautiful surroundings. May the photos in this book also inspire you to contemplate on the Dharma.
