This was in a small pile of DVDs I was given and halfway through it, he does this tour thing where you get to see his house in 1978.
I'd read that this guy had some far-out design, but this was taking kitsch to a whole new level.
I like the Rolls Royce halfway through; it's the exact same model I hired as my wedding car 2 years ago - though it would have been brand new in that scene.

The style and fashion in that house is so terribly gawdy but yet Veronika & I couldn't stop watching it. This is like "Pimp My Crib 1978 Stylz".

  • I think it was called "Valentines Day" with 1978 or 1979 on the cover.

  • That's the fabulous SANDY DUNCAN in the guest room (woman without the hat) and eating a grapefruit at breakfast on the right. She played in Peter Pan and was famous for her wheat thin crackers commercials.

  • Posted on my FB page. Search "Bill King" in Hamilton and leave a comment! Liberace must never die. (Sorry, can't post URLs on FB or your post will be deemed junk.)

  • @sfkforever

    O_o

  • @meaut1 According to imdb.com and Wikipedia, Brad Pitt didn't begin his acting career until 1987, nine years after this video.

  • Now that my friends is a house!!!!

  • THis shit is hilarious!!

  • he was a ladies man no doubt!!!

  • If you pause it at (4:50) and take a good look...you will notice that it is "Brad Pitt" playing the part of his First Mate. Check it out...amazing! If (bored1980) gets bored... we'd love to see even more of this great vintage footage. Liberace was indeed "One of a Kind", and that seems like an understatement. He was like charisma covered in rhinestones and looked at through a magnifying glass. It's no wonder he made millions.
