Good video. Would it be better to put half of the total weight required onto each side of the rim? That way there's no dynamic imbalance.

Make sure not to cross-balance a tire, do not have weights spaced on opposite sides of the tire. This will have an adverse affect on the wear of your tire and will cause high speed instability.

@RKendall48 You shouldn't spin it. Just let it settle, but after it settles mark the light spot at the top then turn the wheel about 1/3 of a turn allow it to settle twice more, each time marking the light spot at the top. Your marks should be more than an inch away from one another. If they are do it again until you get 3 marks within an inch of one another, then place you weights there.

hahaha total stupid system is only static balanc no dynamic balance in normal machine make job cheap and profesional (3-8eur) this is good for cross motorcycle no supersport :-))))) sory for my english

A balanced wheel will improve handling and have more even tire wear.
