Doncaster series 3 pt2. Bittern

Here we see A4 Bittern 60019 with double tender on a non stop run to York. It's on the charter 1Z50 from London Kings Cross. She was well ahead of her timings too, so a few folk who came down the station missed her :-( The long building in the back ground is part of the railway works, known as "The Plant". This is where Bittern, Mallard ,Flying scotsman were built amongst many others. We'll see Bittern again later in this series, but running much faster. More to follow.
