Zion Jumping

This is a new horse. He hasn't had consistent work since being with me as I have been concentrating on my other horse Pike.

When I got him he was lame and I couldn't ride him. We then got his feet done and now he is better (except when he goes a bit stupid and trots uneven) But he still wasn't going well. He was jumping funny and just resisted work. When we had the chiropractor out for my sisters horse we had him look at this one and found he was sore from his whither to his dock (he even tried to kick him) SO he had another session a week later then had 2 weeks off and has been brought back into work very slowly. He had a week of consistent work and he has been going amazing but he had 2 days off as I was away competing and when I rode him again (this video) he was a bit of a spaz. But he settled down to jump quite well (heaps better then he was. He use to hang his legs over the jumps and wouldnt arch his back over it)

Thanks. He's not an easy horse to deal with. I'm not sure I have clicked with him either at the moment. This is a good day with him, not all days are like this. Most days usually consist of us cantering on the spot because he refuses to trot, cantering on the left leg when going to the right and if by some miracle we do pick up the right lead its usually a huge leap then take off around the arena. I'm just waiting for the dentist to come out and do his teeth then see how he goes.

i rember this horse from the perviuos owner , you ar doing amazing with him much much better this horses just never clicked with her, but you h looks great with you!

im so haappy hes a a good home now, gettting attention and not getting his talent wasted! he looks the best he's been in a while :)
