www.ProGuitarShop.com - The Fairfield Circuitry Barbershop Overdrive is a truly responsive and warm overdrive pedal that really works well with any guitar or amp, enriching your tube amp with some true vintage brown tone. The Fairfield Circuitry Barbershop Overdrive is housed in a sturdy and thick unfinished metal casing, and is powered from a standard 9 volt dc. The volume pedal increases signal, and the drive provides a smooth, open gain that is completely responsive to playing dynamics. The Fairfield Circuitry Barbershop Overdrive really responds to pick attack strike and pick hard and the Barbershop will distort naturally. Ease back, and the warm and transparent tone of the Barbershop and your guitar shines through. The Sag knob is the unique feature on this amazing overdrive pedal. Simulating the sag on an amp (or the dynamic responsiveness of a tube amp), this knob really opens up the sonic possibilities of your overdrive sound. When rolled back, get some real spongey tone. Turned counter, it gets more tight and compressed. This feature gives the Fairfield Barbershop a vibrant edge over most overdrive pedals. - http://proguitarshop.com/store/overdrive-pedals-fairfield-circuitry-overdrive...

  • Jesus Lizard's glamorous! Duane Dennison is the best! Andy has mentioned his name before in demos. an unsung hero

  • That was Puss actually, but yes, we love us some Duane Denison and J-Liz!

  • The secret is out! Noooooo!!!! Hopefully everyone will think this demo sucks so no one else will buy these up. Andy can do that sometimes, make a good pedal sound bad and a bad pedal sound good.

  • All part of the Master Plan!

  • I've said this a million times, but I thank you PGS. You bring straight forward and informative videos to your viewers. Not only that, but you use a lot of great songs to showcase a pedals' features.

  • Anyone else really dig the look of the rustic and simple design of this and other pedals likewise?

  • Someone told me that this should be at the end of your pedal board for some reason? As in going straight to the amp? Is that because of the True Bypass or is it myth?

  • @mongoose979 Basically, SAG all the way left = brown ass fuzz, SAG all the way right = brilliant overdrive... everything in between is just sex. Use w/ tube amp!

Trust me, I just got mine & have been playing it non-stop for days! That reminds me... @ProGuitarShopDemos This is simply the best pedal I've ever purchased, & it's thanks to a year's worth of drooling over this demo that I finally decided to grow a pair in both tone & manliness. This thing is just pregnant with tonal awesome sauce. ;D

  • +1 on favourite overdrive. Recording guitars for a new EP last weekend and found I left this pedal on all the time. Used it as a boost and overdrive.

  • This very easily became one of my favorite pedals. Amazing OD.

  • It looks as though it would be inconvenient to have the input, output, and 9v jacks all on the same side, but that would actually work pretty well on a pedalboard.

  • @mongoose979 its a voltage starve, decreases the amount of power the pedal receives so it reacts differently to the input signal

  • FUCK YEAH...The Jesus Lizard!!!!

  • i just dont comprehend the SAG concept, anyone ?

  • I love that sag knob!

  • Sounds very nice with strat. Is that prototype or pilot model? Design could be much better.
