Man WTF is with this car. I must've tried this course 30 times, driving it as clean as possible, always came in 2.5 seconds slow.

Then I watched this video, where you're just drifting constantly and bouncing off every wall in sight, so I tried the same approach and passed it the first time lol.

You tap tap tap the joystick to turn! See, more skilled players can gradually move their joystick, but players like my GF jerk it around (should see her play shooters, where that totally doesn't work). But that is actually the key to this game I've just discovered. Turn up your volume and turn gradually, and listen to your engine slow down! Now tap tap tap and listen! Also, you never lose control! It's hard not to turn gradually, but you have to tap tap tap!

OK you guys, I have the way to beat it. I swear to god, no joke, you will CRUSH your old time if you can't beat it. I couldn't even get close to beating this, and only got under 1:52 like a couple times. After figuring this trick out, I got under 1:45, yes, 1:45, FIRST TRY! Guess what you do? I did better than this guy as far as not hitting shit, and I can't do it, not even within 2 seconds. Maybe hitting the walls and other such nonsense actually makes you go faster? I mean look at the time when he passes the very first truck, as it goes off-screen: 18.9 seconds. The best I did was like hundredths under 20 seconds, and I didn't hit anything, and kept full throttle. And we're talking only the first 1/5 of the race here, and I'm already a second behind him. I give up I think.
