To celebrate the last "Cascadia" match before the Timbers and Whitecaps both go to MLS next year, the Timbers Army presented a 3-section-wide Cascadia flag before the Timbers/Whitecaps match at PGE Park in Portland, Oregon on July 3, 2010.

  • It doesn't matter if you're a Timbers, Sounder, or Whitecaps fan. We should all have those flags.

  • I just got goosebumps.

  • @DSakaiOnRye google 'buy cascadia flags' I've looked up some in the past, prices ranging from a nice 20 dollars to some expensive ass 89 dollars for a procascadia group. They were 3x5. Think it's mainly internet bought

  • where do you people buy your cascadia flags? I have seats on the rails for grey cup in vancouver and really want the doug to hang off the rails for all of canada to see.

  • I'd cut eye-holes in it. I wouldnt buy a ticket to have that dragged over my face

  • @southernpreppy

It's more of a regional cultural identity then an independence movement. southernpreppy is right, most people in the Pacific Northwest have never heard the term "Cascadia". It was made popular in the 1970's by environmentalist groups. Several attempts were made at forming a political party, but failed. There are flags designed for "Cascadia", my favorite being the one on my channel.

  • @southernpreppy No. It's an inside joke, not an actual sentiment. There are more people who want to separate in Alberta. Most British Columbians wouldn't know what "Cascadia" means, if you asked them. It's more of a thing for Washington and Oregon, who don't like getting lumped in with California all the time.

  • I can't see shit!
