A great and rare delight for the heart, and for the eyes and ears as well. These are amateur Russian folk dancers, wearing traditional costumes they have made, singing and dancing in Surry, Maine as guests of Walter Nowick , a renowned pianist, opera director and Zen master, in his most simple concert barn with world class acoustics. These women are professionals in other occupations in St Petersburg, Russia--music therapists, high school teachers, painters, administrators, etc. They are led by Julia Firtisch.
