First two laps of my second runoffs. I finished just barely in the top half of the pack in my second go at the runoffs. Tons of fun!

  • lol what happens at 2:59, did you mess up and lose 2 positions so you cut it out!?

  • Hah! Yeah, I don't know what happened to the video, but a totally botched turn 1 at that point. I never really loved the way my rx7 handled, it was pretty skittish under braking and there's some small bumps as you go under the bridge there at turn 1 that upset the car. It's like the car wants to suck you into the wall under the bridge!

  • why did they ever move the run offs to kansas?? lame, mid ohio or road america should be the location.

  • It'll be at Road America this year! Nice!

  • Mostly I was wimping out at turn 1 and then over driving a couple other corners. This was my second race at mid-ohio and I still hadn't figured out the best way to negotiate the bumps at the braking area into turn 1. My old RX7 really jumped around on those bumps and there is a big concrete wall right there! Ugh. :)

  • Nice driving!! So sad to see the FC get taken out in the first minute! : (

  • at :40, was that a callahan? i think its called.

  • Was turn one the long left hander onto the straight? Top effort for your second race there. First gen RX7's do like to get a bit jumpy under brakes. I run a proportioning valve on mine and I keep on dialling out rear brake. It's kinda compounding, the more rear we dial out, the more the weight transfers to the front ;)

  • Well driven, did your tyres go away a little towards the end?
