I just really take the time to learn the song the way the artist recorded it. I know a lot of musicians love to add their own style, and tha's fine (i do it too) but on here, I know people might not wanna hear "Dahv's" style to the song, they want to learn the song as close as possible to the original. as far as teachers, I gotta give it to my guy Lance Tolbert (currently plays for Mariah Carey and has a Master's in Jazz)
