EPISODE 5 (of 5) A panel discussion with author James W. Douglass (JFK AND THE UNSPEAKABLE: WHY HE DIED AND WHY IT MATTERS), filmmaker Oliver Stone (JFK) and noted JFK researcher Lisa Pease. Moderated by: Robert Ellsberg (son of Daniel Ellsberg).
Recorded on November 8, 2010 (the 50th anniversary of the election of JFK) at the Saban Theatre, Los Angeles.

At the height of the Cold War, JFK risked committing the greatest crime in human history: starting a nuclear war. Horrified by the specter of nuclear annihilation, Kennedy gradually turned away from his long-held Cold Warrior beliefs and toward a policy of lasting peace. But to the military and intelligence agencies in the U.S., who were committed to winning the Cold War at any cost, Kennedy's change of heart was a direct threat to their power and influence. Once these dark "Unspeakable" forces recognized that Kennedy's interests were in opposition to their own, they tagged him as a dangerous traitor, plotted his assassination, and orchestrated the subsequent cover-up.

  • Douglass is a hero, and so is Oliver Stone. Thanks to you, Oliver, I realized I was being a coward for not speaking out. My book, Me & Lee, is a testimony to Lee, thanks to Oliver Stone and Jim Marrs (who has encouraged me after seeing the evidence),and Jim -- you show just why Kennedy had to die. It was Lee who taught me who JFK was, and why he mattered. Our country needs you, including Lisa's presence in the media. Kudos for this fine discussion. The people are learning what happened. Thanks!

  • Time to take Douglass's book and use it as a battering ram to breach the castle walls that have closed our democracy off from us. Talk is cheap...

  • A transcript for all 5 parts of this excellent panel discussion is at Pottersville com forum, JFK Assassination section.

  • Thanks for putting this on YouTube. Kate Dixon

  • Jim DiEugenio, Lisa Pease, Jim Douglas and Oliver Stone total dream team. Venturas show on JFK sucked so badly without these guys. Shameful and Jesse Venturas endorsing of Jude Baker on BOR was embarrassing. His book 'American Conspiracies' with Dick Russell is very good. Without Russell, Ventura really isn't that much chop.

  • "Limited time"? They charged people something like $30.00 and then they wouldn't even answer all their questions because of some BS "limited time"? What's up here?

By the way, the guy who asked the long question in a previous clip was Jim DiEugenio, a frequent guest on BlackOpRadio[dot]com. You can hear his reaction to this meeting in the last episode in the Archived Shows section. Plus, last week, there was an excellent interview with Jesse Ventura.
