You probobly already know this. But you can hold your knees when wearing the rocket skates. it should give you more control. I think hold the A button or something...check it out.

I have a genesis that works quite well aside from the controller (its short) and it also comes with a couple extra features such as a headphone jack.

what software do you use to record video game runs?

I use an emulator, since my Genesis no longer functions properly. The one I use allows me to record AVI files so that I can edit them in Movie Maker.
