And with that, I ran upstairs to get ready for what I didn't know would be one of the most chaotic, amazing and also worst nights of my life.

I put on the dress I bought earlier, added some darker makeup and messed up my hair neatly. If that was to make any sense at all.

Nate and I headed over to the Jonas house finding the front door wide open and music blaring from inside.

We stepped inside, only to find Nick making out with some girl right in front of us.

Gold star for Nick. He really knows how to make a girl feel special.

Nate walked past Nick and tapped his shoulder before greeting some of his friends that were spread about the place.

Nick separated from the girl and looked around.

I just stood there, not knowing what to do. Nick pushed away the girl and stepped forward to me before leaning up against the wall.

'She wasn't anything Cassie.' he said.

'Whatever Nick. I'm tired of this.. never-ending game with you.' I replied.

I was about to walk out, but he stepped in front of me.

'Look, I'm sorry girls throw themselves at me.' he half yelled.

I just rolled my eyes. Was this ever going to end? I could feel tears welling up, but I had no idea why.

He put his hand softly on my arm. 'I'm sorry. I-I don't mean to be this.. jerky. Believe me Cass.' he looked down, 'I'm sorry.'

He put his arms around me and hugged me tight. Then he just kissed me.

But it was different. Meaningful.

The kiss seemed never ending, which was good - I never wanted it to.

He did make me feel amazing. When things were good, they were beyond good, but when they were bad, they were terrible.

He took my hand and pulled me upstairs. We walked into his room and sat on his bed.

'So, what do you want to do?' he said.

'Nick, there's an amazing party downstairs.. and you want to be in your room with me?!'

'Y-yes. Is that a bad thing?' he was worried.

I giggled. 'No Nick. I think that's sweet.'

'Not jerky?' he asked with a smile.

I shook my head. 'Definitely not jerky.'

He smiled. I smiled.

I rest my head on his shoulder while he began to hum a tune. I glanced up at him.

'You changed me.' he smiled.

He lent down a little and softly kissed me again.

This night couldn't have got any better.. so it decided to get worse.



'Nick! The-- Cassie? I can't believe you.'
