This sounds a lot like what would happen if I were left alone with several grams of psychedelic mushrooms and the guts of a discarded piano.

Who are these people kidding? The only thing I am impressed by in this video is the woman's ability to keep a straight face throughout this farce.

I really think there are more intuitive ways to deconstruct this instrument. This piece is obviously written for the piano.

I like the cimbalom as it is, but now it strikes me that this really is an instrument that is well suited for modern classical music. It has very good tone qualities for it.
