Slaying The Andraste Dragon (Level 15 Warrior)

Slaying the risen Andraste: the most fun you can have in a video game outside of WoW?

This is how I killed the risen Andraste in Dragon Age. My party consisted of Shale, Wynne, and Morrigan. Everyone had as much fire resist as I could find (not much, I don't think; no one had above 35%). Shale used some sort of fire resist crystal from Thedas' shop in Denerim, the PC had the full Juggernaut set, and the human characters had apprentice amulets (5% FR).

Shale was the main tank and the playable character (Alcides!) was the off-tank. Morrigan was DPS and Wynne was healer, obviously. I took control of Shale and the playable character to establish aggro, which they never lost, and then moved Morrigan and Wynne back out of range of its attacks. I controlled Wynne, who, with a few potions, was able to heal and buff the entire party effectively. You can see that I'm not particularly adept at micromanaging all these guys, but they still got the job done pretty easily. I only had to resurrect the playable character once because I accientally healed Shale instead of him.

Playable character was level 15. Everyone else was level 14.

@Stuvv47 That's Wynne. You get her at the Mage's Tower. At least, I think that's what it's called. Been a little while since I played. She's definitely a better healer than Morrigan,

i kill this dargon as rogue lvl 11 alone n without takin damage but it tooks me 10 min to kill it ill tell u how if u want

killed it without taking damage. i had one tank two mages and one archer. My tank would cast taunt then I'd just continously cast force field on him so he wouldn't take damage. My archer and mages did all the damage from a safe distance

it really is. even though i haven't been able to kill it yet. i always run out of potions and then it's just a matter of time before we all die. i'm gonna try it next with your party and see what happens. i was using sten instead of morrigan because he's got a sword that does 25dmg versus dragons, but three melee fighters is just too many people for wynne to heal. : /
