I just ordered a AES1500 yesterday ! :)...the delivery time is 6 months !!! :O...but it's worth the wait :)...it's gonna cost me $2400, brand new, with hardcase :)

it's funny - i've had quite a few people ask me about the guitar :)

The AES1500 is definately underrated as a hollowbody-electric for jazz in my opinion. I don't know if Yamaha discontinued the line or not, but they seem to be difficult to come across these days.

I was lucky enough to find this one online through Music Swap Shop in Melbourne and they shipped it to me here in Perth. 2nd hand Japan-build, pristine condition - set me back about $2000 which i think was a steal :)
