MONTREAL — A Quebec comedy duo notorious for prank calls to celebrities and heads of state has reached Sarah Palin, convincing the Republican vice-presidential nominee she was speaking with French President Nicolas Sarkozy.

Wrong, it is Sarah Palin, she even talks about it in her book Going Rouge An American Lie. (yes I know it is not spelled that way, but that is what it really is.)
She remained clueless throughout the phone call, and they had to tell her it was a prank nearly 6 minutes into it. because they felt sorry for her.

Yes he did and there is one major difference.
He admitted he screwed up.
Palin on the other hand is to brain dead to realize that she screwed up and can not. nor has ever admitted to making a Mistake.
You are also confusing a 2 word Gaffe with a nigh upon 6 minute interview/call where she was clueless the whole time. In her book she "Thought" he was drunk. However, anyone can make an excuse 11 months after the fact.
The Fact is she has no clue.
