-OBSOLETE- Datel's Wii Freeloader w/American SSBB on my European Wii

I bought the American Copy of Super Smash Bros. Brawl at a computer fair with a Datel Freeloader, so I wanted to show you guys how it works!

NOTE: The Freeloader does now NOT work with versions 3.3 or above on ANY REGION.
===================================

-FREELOADER WALKTHROUGH-
If the game that you wish to play is from an NTSC region then you may need to first set the display setting to 60Hz for best results. This setting is found hunder the Tools Menu on your console. (Joodude: You must also have a 60Hz compatible TV, otherwise your games will be in Black and White. You must also use 60Hz while using US/JP games, as 50Hz can crash your Wii while loading the game.)

Insert the Freeloader for Wii disk and it will automaticlly run.
Multiple coloured bars on the screen will indicate that the Freeloader is in operation. The coloured bars will appear twice and then stop. Your Wii will then tell you that it is an unknown disk, at this point eject the Freeloader and insert your US/JP disc. Wait for it to load and start up the game!

@310796 It should do if you but the American version.

However, It won't work on any version above versions 3.3, which makes it useless.

I have a very important question. How did you get ur European Nintendo wii to work on a american tv? You see i hav a euro wii and when i try it on my both my 2 tvs it doesn't work. I set it up perfectly and the display goes down and shows again and down and shows again. I live in America. So very plz plz plz plz plz plz plz. Answer My question!

It's a European TV, it just has NTSC compatability built in it. You can get most LCD or normal TV's with this.

But because you live in america, most TV's over there won't support PAL signals. Try and ask a electronics dealer if they sell TV's with PAL and NTSC compatability C:

Freeloader technically isnt obsolete? It has an update blocker.

Tyvm my parents had decided to uprgrade and bought a vizio tv. My pal wii works on there and all i had to do was get the power converter.

@has214 RCA Flat Screen can also run pal modes... I know this because it works on my Amiga CD32.. But it doesn't work on all flat screens..

So, Im trying to run a Japanese game on my American Wii (I did a whole bunch of crud already to downgrade it to 3.2), will the Freeloader disk just upgrade it all over again?

Yes.

This method is obsolete now, and can easily be done using Bannerbomb.
