Jack is "pushing the time"! He isn't rushing- just moving the tempo up and playing before the beat or dead on the beat vs typical "behind the beat" blues shuffle. Jack is the boss-make no mistake. Drummer Buddy Miles finally figures out what's going on and goes into double time! Bring out the deodorant!
