no more of AL GUYS! this is the last year we have to sit thru this shit! I dont see alot of these guys comming back! either cut or trade anybody that has value on that so-called playoff calibur defense! including SEYMOUR! he suppose to be a team leader? how many times has he done DUMB DUMB penalties? you see what happens when these all-pro veterans come here and put on the silver and black! NOT A FUCKING THING! how the hell is he even in the pro bowl?
@MrAss707 Baltimore is in the playoffs with stout defense and a okay offense, so to say wasting clock on players who can contribute on D is silly of you. i also stated that we do have talented personnel, they just aren't being used correctly.
only reason we didn't score more TDs this season was due to the QB change, injured WRs and losing McFadden. we're set on offense when we're healthy. no need to waste clock on offensive players.
Last seasons focus was to stop the run, we still cant, now we're giving up the pass play. Ultimately it's a scoring leauge these days and we settle for field goals rather then Tds. " what does this have to do" bruh we going backwards. It would be different if certain issues got fixed but no. cant stop the run, now it's the pass, and penalties, cant score TDs,
If you think a couple solid player in the secondary will fix things your wrong.
@MrAss707 First off, what does this have to do with what we, or even myself, were initially talking about? (I need McClain to be more of a outspoken leader.)
Any kind of difference in this defense is huge. Chuck Bresnahan is running a joke defense more than half the time. I think we have some talented personnel on defense, but they aren't being used correctly and it won't hurt us to use most, if not all, our picks on defensive guys. FA will be huge for us.
Remember coach Cables 2nd year with us, the whole off season, the draft, OTAs, trades, practice, and pre-season was focused on stopping the run. We never did complete the task, now teams are passing on us all day. I dont think bringing in new D-cord and better players will make a huge difference. It's a scoring league today bruh especially with the rules. Look at the top teams right now except the 9ers, premier QBs and mastermind coaches, Packers, Saints, Pats, Steelers...
@skiesgrayful They're getting 3 high Comm picks in the 3rd for losing Zach,Nnamdi & Gallery as long as they're not wasteful since Al's gone but we'll see
@ozulu45 You're no Raider you're a fake go fuck yourself then we'll talk

Your talking about those six, former 1st round draft picks on our defence whom still suck, dont play smart football and cant tackle?
Yea Ravens and 9ers are there because of defence but you think they go point-for-point against the Saints or Pats?

@hd0t
I also think the mind-set of todays great football teams is " it's easier to score than to stop a team from scoring" due to the rules.
The psycology is : If they score, we score... like a shoot out. why waste the clock on defence, which brings up clock managment

@MrAss707 They still had/have Wilfork, wasn't a big deal at the time.
But the Pats' defense (moreso their pass D) is horrid overall now.
Plus, Seymour isn't the only one on our defense not getting the job done.
