Thanks for this video. I agree with you that hedge funds in general get a bad name, but most of them are honest run businesses and very entrepreneurial.
Hedge funds can market themselves however in many ways. There is a lot of grey area in what is considered marketing or not...some write books, provide expert advice on the news, respond to journalists with quotes about their expertise, and reach out to potential clients via phone and email.

That's what my friend does, but I can't get a PEEP out of him as to details.
So I asked what he did when he worked at the World Trade Center, which was an even worse idea than inquiring about Hedge Funds. He REALLY didn't want to discuss THAT.
"World Trade Exchanges" he replied. But refused to further enlighten me. Other than to say "Look it up," that is.
