  • Under ideal light conditions both cameras (100&700) would perform great. You have to take in consideration the key differences between them, such as the CCD size & the optic fitted. The GY-HM100E has a 1/4" CCD & the GY-HM700E has 1/3" so the GY-HM700E would perform better in lower light. Regarding "strobing" both those cameras record in 1080i & 720p, the advantage of 720p in this case is that you can record in progressive at 50 images per second & that will give you an excellent smooth result.

  • Hi! I have been watching your videos and I think they're great. I have a question-- my shots are coming out overexposed and I was wondering if you have to do the thing with the paper everytime you turn on the camera and if you have to do it in the light that you'll be shooting. For example: if I'm going to shoot outside, do I do the paper thing outside?

Thanks for all the great tutorials!

  • hi u seem 2 know the 100 inside out, how @ the 700? i've heard under ideal lighting conditions, the 100 can take a shot as nice as the 700, even tho it looks like a toy - true? i need to know the difference in picture quality between the 100 & 700... & low light sensitivity 4 both (does the 100 make artifacts in dark black?), do they handle motion ok (no strobing when someone running)? also, how do both compare to the EX-1 & EX-2 if u know? please respond (email wud b gr8: macman0043@yahoo com
