i have a 89 kx 125 and it leaks oil out of the engine were the exhaust pipe enters it and it shoots out of the tail pipe it also bogs down when u rev it does anyone know wats wrong with it please reply back

@1998dodgedakotaman...........­.hi there you will need to replace the expantion chambers seal...its a copper washer that is inserted into the front of the chamber and about your problem with your oil shooting out the back pipe well its because you are running the bike to rich and thats also why you are boging the bike... i mix my fuel at 40/1 and i dont have the problem of seeing oil come out of the pipe! *8)

Hi what do you run for gas ratio

@tmk5522 yeah your right, i was think of air/fuel ratios. i no the more air you add the leaner the ratio gets. i just assumed it was the same for gas to oil ratios. it still dont make sence to me that a heavier fuel mix could be leaner but w/e

@gohomemyoldson no no no no no watch slavens 2 stroke getting. richer and leaner refers to the amount of gas not the oil so sorry but u r ass backwards because the more oil the less gas 32 parts gas to 1 part oil is leaner than 40 parts gas to 1 part oil more gas is richer

@tmk5522 no 32:1 is richer than 40:1.....adding more oil makes u run richer and adding less leans it out.

@jasonpakes true 40:1 is better but that is richer than 32:1 cuz there is more gas @1998dodgedakotaman get some jets both bigger and smaller than whts in the bike and try going down a size on ur main then play with ur air screw 1 and 1/4 turns out is a good place to start.

@CYMRU619 If you take him to a motocross store or somewhere close have him sit on one or one similar to the size. If he can reach the controls and get one foot on the ground without the bike tipping over, it should be good
