many people cut line in this fashion but that doesnt make it right. finally someone spoke up when heather did it and instead of heather going to the back of the line she let the situation escalate to this level. it's her fault fault and she appears to be a loud mouth that got what she deserved.

It doesn't work that way? BUT IT DOES. Politics is nothing but a game. The right-wing is full of unscrupulous dishonest charlatans, rapscallions, tricksters, sociopaths, pathological liars, and snake-oil salesmen. People like this love playing games with us "lowly serf." These types of people see common folk as slobs, retched dogs, and pathetic desperate's. That is why they have no conscience bout how they influence the masses. Today's right-wing is truly dangerous.

Riiight. So we should only advocate on a limited basis or only in exceptional circumstances...b/c we don't want to give the conservs ammunition? Really? It doesn't work that way. It does not matter what we say or do, right-wing extremists, racists, etc. will find something, real or imagined, to support their distorted perception. Have we not seen that in the past 10 months of Obama's presidency? It's discomfiting that "what the folk gon' think" is still directing the action of some POC.

May God bless you for being a avocate for this precious woman!! I know her personally, I attended her father's church for 4 years, it is a fine church lead by a stand up pastor. Heather not only looks like her mom, she is a very strong black woman as well. Yes, they are outspoken, but they are VERY loving people. Heather does not deserve this, she should be concentrating on her studies right now instead of fighting this bogus charge. Once again, THANK U SO MUCH FOR SUPPORTING HEATHER! God bless.

I don't think this story needs too much attention. Don't get me wrong, That young woman do need support. Its just that unscrupulous conservative republicans use stuff like this to aggravate the racial intolerance in their base about Obama and race. They're always like > "see, this is Obama's America." They want anything and everything racial to stir up their intolerant conservative base against a black president.

we can't just go off hear-say or her background. there must be surveillance footage to show what exactly happened, I know there's cameras in Wal-Mart. but 15 years doesn't seem right at all, it is indeed an outrage.
