@makaveli769 - The key is to create a shoulder brace that is either permanently attached inside, or create one that can be removed, for more easy transportation. More specifically, you need to make sure that the brace has a way to prevent itself from sliding off/out when the weight of the costume is pulling itself down. 2:00-2:10 you can kind of see what type of box we used for a shoulder brace. For the black and yellow material we used a cheap fleece-like material.

@makaveli769 - For Pacman, we used a sheer "veil-like" material on the top of the mouth, allowing us to see through it. If you look closely on Inky, you can see we did the same on the side (the sheer material has a slightly different color).

and also how u guys see throught the custom??/
What can you use so your shoulders don't hurt?

@verovilla92 - On the shoulder braces inside we used foam padding on all of the tension point hitting the nack and shoulders. It wasn't enough though and still got very uncomfortable after a while, so maybe double that up with some firmer foam padding.

@Eownage - I wish I would have though about that before. I would have documented it better. Maybe at some point I will do a Pacman 2.0 and do an instructables tutorial with it.

how did you put the "top" between the two sides?!
where can i buy that cloth?
kevin123abc 1 year ago
@kevin123abc - We used fabric glue and staples (lots of staples). And the cloth we got at Hobby Lobby, but you should be able to get it from any store that sells material for sewing. It was a fleece-like cloth, likely used for light blankets, or similar items.
