Being a shelter volunteer I see and socialize different pit bull terriers frequently. There are 2 mo old up to 6 or 7 yr olds and I have never had a problem walking or socializing any of them. Most of the time when I have a pit in the yard the antagonizer in the other yard is a chihuahua, its a fact. The owners are to blame, they breed the females to sell the puppies and then dump the females and the pound picks them up, facts are facts!

@MrShortCropped : bsl means breed specific legislations, which means they make laws to ban the entire breed because of the actions of a few which is less than 1% of 1%. we like to call them bull shit laws because that is exactly what they are!

What means with bsl? Here in Sweden bsl is like When the dog is searching/hunting:s but it is something with dog fighting too?

@gravylegs1 Uhm. In countries that instituted BSL long before anywhere in the US did the laws are starting to be repealed because it has been found that dog bites were not reduced. Italy is such an example. There was a banned breed list consisting of no less than 92 different types of dog. They recently dropped BSL because IT DOESN'T WORK. And there's no point pumping money into legislation that doesn't work.
