A new engine and a new transmission Porsche's 911 - stronger, faster and more economical!

Loads of space and handy solutions VW's Multivan up against VW's Caddy Maxi - which will become the family favorite?
present it! - the New Porsche 911

Porsche has redesigned the 911. Although the Carrera has remained true to form on the outside, under the hood there have been a few big changes. The motor is one of a brand new generation of direct-injection engines that already comply with stiff future emissions regulations. Another new introduction is a seven gear dual-clutch gearbox, which shifts gears without dropping torque to the wheels. The new 911 is now available in Germany starting at around €81,000.test it! - the New Seat Ibiza

Volkswagen's Spanish subsidiary is trying to get back on course, and the latest edition of their star seller the Ibiza is meant to help. With new headlights and a heavily modified rear, the supermini has been given a brand new look. Things have changed inside as well, with quality plastic surfaces, and goodies like a permanent interface plug for portable navigation systems. Even the cargo space has improved, up to a modest 292 liters.compare it! - VW Multivan vs. VW Caddy Maxi

The Schmidt family loves its VW. They've been faithful to their camper-van for years, and really use its many advantages: plenty of space, decent seating, and a lot of flexibility when travelling. But there's a downside as well. The Multivan is expensive, burns a lot of fuel, and is difficult to park in the city. Now the van's little brother, the Caddy Maxi, is supposed to solve those problems. We put the two head to head in a sibling rivalry test to see whether the Caddy Maxi Life really has what it takes to steal the hearts of the Schmidt family.spot it! - a hybrid bicycle

Fast, environmentally-friendly, and completely unique - it's a bike that can move as fast as a motorcycle. Berlin's Stefan Gulas has now brought a dream to life with the eROCKIT. When the bicyclist steps on the pedal, it activates a generator. Depending on how fast the rider is pedaling, the motor then hits the gas. The interesting thing is that the acceleration is all digital. There is no direct mechanical connection between the pedals and the rear axle. 12 horsepower allow the bike to reach speeds of up to 80 kilometers an hour. There is one serious drawback, however. The eROCKIT costs around €30,000.inside it!: Tire Bionics - Learning from Nature

What do frogs, leopards and spiders have in common? They are all helping to improve the quality of tires. The goal of bionics is to learn from nature and apply what you've learned to new products, and when it comes to gripping things, evolution is way out in front of technology. Spider silk, for example, has five times the tensile strength of steel, although it's as elastic as nylon. Tire manufacturers have now developed a new kind of rubber that takes advantage of its characteristics.vintage: the Chevy Camaro

A 1978 Chevy Camaro isn't exactly modest, but that wasn't good enough for Cetin Dalkilic. He put three years, around 4,000 hours of work and a lot of money into his baby - and turned it into a real monster of a machine. His 78 Camaro's headlights shoot lightning bolts, while the entire motor has been chromed and features LEDs and neon lights. The 5.7 liter, 300 horsepower motor provides a constant howl of noise. It's a good thing this antique car doesn't have to meet more stringent modern requirements for emissions and sound levels.

  • the Porsche will always beat Andy and Bmw,the heritage will conquer you :D

  • I've driven the BMW and the Audi, the Audi has more comfortable seats, the Volvo is handsome in the front but that rear hatch is an acquired taste!

  • Its all about the Volvo C30, then the Audi A3, and Lastly BMW.
