  • Hello,am I correct in thinking this is a Bernina "embellishing machine" does it have 4 or more barbed needles+retain for about £350??? I went on a textile course 2yrs ago here in Liverpool+was the only student who used it,I got some very pleasing results mixing unlikely fibres together,The most pleasing was using velvets, then scraps of lace, bits of my chopped up hand embroidery...then I "drew" over the piece with mohair wool+string..followed the line with the felting foot+it looked fantastic!;)

  • @loufromlou needle felting is where you have wool and you poke it with a needle to make the fibers tangle and make it compact. to name just a few, people make flowers for clothes, plush animals and minture food with needle felting. this sew machine foot just pokes it for you, so you arent poking it by hand. hope this helped!

  • I am new to sewing in general. What is felting? What are you doing here?

  • You need to oil your machine. Otherwise, good job!
