  • I really need the instrumental piano version of it, can't find anywhere... maybe someone have it and could send it? I'd be very grateful

  • @TheSmaragdas

I think your best try would be to look for the midi of it

I have never seen a purely instrumental version of it as it is performed with a singer

  • Of course it's not verismo. To be exact, Reynaldo composed this as if it were a baroque piece, in his amazing ability to imitate styles. Still, though, it belongs in its time.

Edith Piaf was not in my thought when I wrote that... I was referring to classical singers, such as Regine Crespin or Janet Baker... there aren't any better teachers, if one is humble enough to learn and discover the ways as well as the depth of music instead of producing lovely, yet emotionally deprived sound.

  • @jordanelizab Thank You so much!

  • @TheSmaragdas To get a free pdf version of this, go to the Petrucci Music Library website (imslp org/wiki) and copy and past "A Chloris (Hahn, Reynaldo)" in to the search bar. Agree to not abuse the material and you can download the pdf version of the original or computer made sheet music. The violin part, is in the "arrangements" tab. (This is NOT a joke or spam! No viruses. It's a legit link from a sister site of wikipedia. ) Then you can print it-- I LOVE this piece!

  • @TheSmaragdas The score is on IMSLP.
